Just announced! Workshops for adults with reknowned Primeval comic illustrator Neil Edwards and one for adults and/or parents with kids by poet superstar John Hegley.
Both available FREE on first come, first served basis when you buy your ticket for The Comic Book at Llangollen on the 29th September.

Wednesday, September 19th, 2007 | Events | 2 Comments »So we had a great opening in Second Life on Saturday, with new friends made in bar, frivolous liaisons on the balloon ride, heated art discussions in the gallery and mixed-species (human-penguin to be precise) dancing on the dance floor.

A brand new art gallery is nearly complete. Second Life consultants Movix Media are building this spanking-new art-gallery-in-the-sky in the Second Life virtual world, especially for Our Comic Book’s exhibition .
Yes, its floating in the sky! And comes complete with dance floor, fully functioning bar and a hot-air balloon ride!
Wednesday, September 12th, 2007 | Events | No Comments »An exhibition of artwork from ‘Our Comic Book’ opens in Second Life this Saturday 6-9pm. This is the first ever Welsh art exhibition to launch in Second Life, and comes complete with live DJ Brian Nylon and a balloon ride through the book itself!
Don’t be shy if you’ve not ventured to the alternative virtual world of Second Life before. Its all free and quite straight forward. Check out the SECOND LIFE section for details.
Suzanne Andrade’s show at the Edinburgh Festival has just racked up five awards, in a succession of festival triumphs this week. Her cabaret mix of dark tales told through screen animation and live performance, won the Carol Tambor Edinburgh to New York award and a stack of rave reviews in the national papers. Next stop, Llangollen!
